Isaac Hempstead Wright, Star of Game of Thrones, Gets Married

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Isaac Hempstead Wright, best known for playing Bran Stark in the hit series Game of Thrones, got married last Friday in London and shared photos from the private ceremony on Instagram.

The 26-year-old actor did not reveal his wife’s full name, referring to her only as “M” in his caption. He wrote: “The best human I’ve ever known, the best day of my life, the best friends and family we could have wished for. What a day, what a life. I love you, M.”

Wright’s Game of Thrones co-stars congratulated him in the comments. Lena Headey, who played Cersei Lannister in the HBO series, wrote: “Congratulations, beautifuls!”

John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) also sent their well-wishes to the newlyweds.

Wright rose to international fame at the age of 12 for his role as Bran Stark in the HBO fantasy series, appearing in all eight seasons. Some fans expressed surprise after seeing the wedding photos. One commented: “No, you can’t just get married and make me feel old!”

Wright also appeared in the 2011 film The Awakening and the 2013 thriller Closed Circuit, and has done voice work for the animated series Family Guy.
